Black Acacias are "really real" is now available at Amoeba Records, 1855 Haight Street, San Francisco, CA 94117. Black Acacias are "really real" is now available for purchase on CD Baby. The full, lovingly made album is yours for just $9. A link is available in the newly made Shop. Small snippets of listening can be had there, but if hearing the entire album first is your desire, you may visit Last.fm and examine the entire album there. Lyrics for the album are up on their own page (surreptitiously titled Lyrics) and are ready for karaoke night. Songs are being uploaded to iLike, so if the desire arises, spread the words and music. We're getting prepared for the next round of shows, and look forward to debuting new material. We never sleep. |

The two shows over the weekend were a great success. Thank you to those who came out, and special thanks to the bands with whom we played: Culo a Boca, Bad Touch, Grand Invincible on Friday, and Happily Never After and Stoic Nai on Saturday. The limited CDs are gone, but the next batch will be available Halloween from this website and at upcoming shows. Other avenues of getting a copy are currently being worked out, and things look very positive. We'll keep you informed of further developments. |

Two exciting news items: Black Acacias will be playing two shows the weekend of October 17. The first one is on Friday, Oct 17 at the Blue Bonnet Bar in Sunnyvale. The second is on October 18, at the Cellar @ Agenda Lounge in San Jose. Both shows begin at 9 p.m. The second grand annoucement is that the first full length release, Black Acacias are "really real", will be available for sale at both shows. This first run will be on strictly limited CDs with exclusive artwork. A second, standard pressing will be available on approximately Halloween (October 31).
